Interesting Natural Remedies
for Acne
There are a number of interesting natural remedies for acne.
While there are a number of over-the-counter acne treatments,
and even several treatment measures that can be obtained by
prescription, many find that these treatments are ineffective.
This is basically because of the fact that no two cases of acne
are exactly alike. We all have different skin types, consume
different foods, take different medications, and are all
exposed to different chemicals and toxins. For many, natural
remedies for acne are the most effective. Here, I will outline
a few that I find particularly interesting and not many people
consider.
1. One of the best natural treatments for acne is water.
That’s right – basic drinking water. It has been found if you
drink approximately ten to twelve glasses of water on a daily
basis, your body experiences a natural cleansing process. All
of the toxins and bacteria that lead to the onset of acne are
simply “washed” away and the body is properly hydrated. If you
are looking to eliminate embarrassing acne, water is definitely
a natural remedy that you should look in to!
2. Vinegar is yet another natural substance that has been
successful in treating acne. You will simply want to take a
cotton ball and apply the vinegar to the cotton. You should
then rub the cotton ball over the area of the skin that is
affected by the acne. Allow the product to remain on the face
for approximately ten minutes at a time. You should then take
some cool water and splash it on the face so that the vinegar
is safely washed away. If you find that the skin burns once you
apply the vinegar, you may consider diluting it mildly with
either water, or mixing it with a hypoallergenic face cream
that does not contain harsh chemicals.
3. The next natural remedy that I have found to be effective
are the juices from fruits that are citric in nature. These
include oranges, and even lemons! You will want to take the
juice, rub it over the area where the acne outbreak is
occurring and allow it to sit approximately fifteen minutes.
Once the time has passed, you will want to take some cool water
and rinse it from the area it was applied.
If you suffer from acne outbreaks, and basic treatments are
not working to relieve you of the symptoms that you are
experiencing, you may want to try these interesting natural
